Oh, the snow. It seems like the weather just can’t decide what to do. Snow? Rain? Spring?
Who can tell.
After our fabulous show meeting at Johnni and Skyllar Beckel’s house, it looks like we have a pretty good idea of where we would like to go this year…and it starts soon! There are sign-up sheets on the board for the bulk of the March shows, starting with the Country Heir in the new indoor facility in Kentucky. Johnni also has the Country Heir at Wilmington and the fast approaching Andrews School posted. Please remember to fill in all the information needed on the sheet so that we can effectively staff the show. Also, the complete show schedule will be posted on the website and individual show sign-up sheets will be posted a few weeks prior to the show so that you can coordinate your schedule. If you have not registered with the USEF and/or OHJA please do so as soon as possible—forms are available in
the folders by the board.

The Valentine’s Day Fun Show was just that…FUN! A great time was had by all the riders and parents, too! Our mini medals were judged by Allison Clark who was kind enough to leave behind the judge’s cards so that the kids could read about what their strengths and weaknesses were. The games division was dominated by Skyllar Beckel who had her sights set on the gigantic chocolate heart awarded to the games champion. Congratulations to Skyllar (and her dentist)!
Lots of prizes and candy were had by all and thank you all for participating and supporting your farm!
Even though we may not be thrilled to venture into the weather at this time of year, your horse won’t be thrilled if you don’t. If you cannot make it to the farm to ride, please give Sarah a heads-up so that she can make arrangements for someone else to ride them.
The dentist will be here very soon—please leave Katie a check in her mailbox, ASAP. The amount per horse is $80. And the check should be made out to Oscar Suski.
